Flexible and good: event locations for setting up and dismantling

A converted factory building with an industrial design, a beach club at lofty heights or a rooftop location with a 360-degree panoramic terrace: many buildings make outstanding event locations in Hamburg. Sometimes, however, none of them are suitable for a planned event: for example, if you want to celebrate in a certain area without a building. What then? How about a temporary structure with the support of professional event planners: with event locations such as tents or room modules that can be set up for the event and taken down again afterwards? This article presents three options.

A brand experience at the 24-hour race

Temporary event locations are often used for major events. This was seen in 2019, for example, at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, one of the world’s best-known and most famous motorsport events. Attractive and unusual locations were created for various companies, which were then dismantled after the event. For example, Losberger De Boer built a temporary hospitality location for the British car manufacturer Aston Martin. The modularly designed and custom-made structure was an extraordinary eye-catcher and served to present the Aston Martin brand in the best possible way. With the flexible modular system from Losberger De Boer, numerous solutions can be developed according to customer requirements. Buildings with glazed fronts and differently colored facades made of various materials are conceivable. Losberger De Boer also provided other temporary event structures for companies at Le Mans 2019, such as customized double-decker halls and a combined showroom and merchandising stand. Completing all the buildings in time for the event was a difficult logistical and organizational task. It was mastered well.

A large tent for almost 5,000 people

Temporary event locations are not just an option if you are planning an event for a few dozen or a few hundred people. PBI Event Architecture from Switzerland can supply tent constructions and orangeries with arched roofs in which almost 5,000 people can celebrate. Such a tent has a base area of 90 x 45 meters and a ridge height of around 13 meters. Among other things, a gallery is integrated, which is very suitable as a VIP area. There is also a spacious entrance area, separate sanitary facilities, a catering area, break rooms and a staff canteen. Anyone planning a major event with an unusual temporary location often makes a good choice with such a tent.

 

Promocubes – compact, modular, good

If you need significantly less space for your event, don’t use a large tent but a single promocube. The word “cube” is perhaps a little misleading, as the small location modules are not necessarily square rooms. Customers can choose between five models with areas between 20 and 36 square meters. The “Cubes” have generous glass fronts and can be used in summer and winter as well as indoors (e.g. in exhibition halls) and outdoors. If required, several Promocubes can be linked together to form a large event area. This gives Promocubes numerous options for individual event locations. According to the manufacturer, a single Cube can be set up by a two-person team within 60 minutes. Promocubes were used, for example, at the “smart experience” roadshow to present the smart EQ fortwo.
